Free Time

Mangroves, Oysters, & Birds

We just got back from the best field trip I have ever taken. Three days in Sine Saloum, nice weather, and everyone was in good spirit. During our adventure we took a pirogue to the mangroves where students tasted oysters, observed birds, and strolled on a island. Check out the video of Jad eating an oyster for the first time. Will he like it?

Why do civilized people kill?

In a war, civilized people kill human beings. How can a civilized person do this? Why do they do this? How does it affect them? Do civilized people become uncivilized during war?

Remember, this blog is used as a discussion tool. Please answer questions, come up with your own, and comment on other comments.
