We just got back from the best field trip I have ever taken. Three days in Sine Saloum, nice weather, and everyone was in good spirit. During our adventure we took a pirogue to the mangroves where students tasted oysters, observed birds, and strolled on a island. Check out the video of Jad eating an oyster for the first time. I had a question about our journal. Can we put slang in parts where it's appropriate. For example, in my case, someone is writing a letter to his brother. Can we put words like gotta and n' and gonna, or will we be marked off for grammar errors?
